In this case, he’s talking about what makes information sell in an age where, as you well know, we’re all inundated with too much information. What he says here is an important piece of what I call “the new era of publishing.”

Please read the article and my follow-up suggestion. (Jimmy is always practical, and offers great resources.) I also included comments on Jimmy’s ideas in a couple of places.

I want you to add a new word to your business vocabulary…

The word is “specialization”.

A new age has dawned in information marketing. And it’s the age of “specialization.”

Before I explain how this will help you create information products that sell like crazy, let me give you a very brief history lesson. <a title="The Key To Creating Information Products That Sell Even In Overcrowded, Highly-Competitive Markets By Jimmy D.

Do you share my dilemma?

As a writer, I have lots of ideas. FOCUS is my biggest challenge.

Two things have helped me focus.

Before I tell you what they are, I’d like you to write down what you believe is the number one factor that is most important for any author to become a success, whether you’re published yet or not.

Go ahead-grab a piece of paper or open a document and jot down the word that is most key to any author’s success.

Got it?

Okay, now I’ll tell you the first thing that has helped me focus.

First, I ask my own audience (YOU) what you want to know. After all, if I don’t serve you, I’m just talking to myself. I want my ideas to connect-with YOU.

In one of my surveys, respondents told me the one thing that they most wanted help on.

It just so happens, it’s the one thing that an author needs most to be successful.

To find out what that is, and to learn the second thing that has helped me focus, go here.

(You didn’t think you could “cheat” on this exercise by reading ahead, did you? <g>)
