Holiday Thoughts …
By · CommentsIt’s been a somewhat stressful time for our family this holiday season, between my daughter’s surgery last week for a torn ACL ligament and now, my husband and son trying to get to Philadelphia to see Gene’’s sister and his brother, who is in hospice care for Alzheimer’s. The big snowstorm forces us to try to rebook flights and car reservations and rides to and from airport….
But you know what? It makes me think about how Mary and Joseph were not “ready” that first Christmas. They too had to travel at a very inconvenient time.
And look what God brought out of all THAT. Events that changed our calendar, and the world.
So I feel at peace, knowing that God is in control and knows what he’s doing. Prayer, and also the Instant Impact exercise from The Healing Code book, have all helped.
So whatever “state” this message finds you in, I want to wish you a most blessed holiday season … bright with the hope of full healing and a good future, which is possible BECAUSE of what happened when the Light of the world broke into the darkness 2000 years ago….

Get Unblocked for the New Year

Feeling blocked about writing or promoting your book or idea?
Or maybe you’re just frustrated with your life. Perhaps health issues, or relationship issues always seem to block you from creating the life you want.
Obstacles to success are real. Some are unavoidable. But a surprising number of them can be changed not by changing the outward circumstances–many of which we cannot control–but by changing our beliefs about them.

It’s a New Era in Publishing–Perhaps the Best Era
By · CommentsI recently conducted a Virtual Book Tour for a first-time author. She did it from her bedroom, in her pajamas for all I know.
There were at least 250 people signed up, and around 50 on the call. That may not seem like much, but actually it’s very good, considering the size of her list and the fact that most physical, in-store book signings don’t get nearly that many people. Many more people will listen to the replay–and pass on the word to friends.
Now that the VBT is finished, the author has a tool which she can use to market her book, find and develop her audience, and build a list of people who are interested in her message. In fact, I’ve identified 26 ways one can use a teleseminar Virtual Book Tour to build a list of loyal followers who will buy the book, tell other people about it, and come back to the author for more of the message. (Provided the author use the VBT in the ways I suggest.)
Not incidentally, this author got a call from a major magazine and did an interview, which appeared in the magazine. VBTs are great for generating interest from the media.
More recently, I conducted another Virtual Book Tour with another first-time author. There were 500 people on that call; nearly 2500 signed up. We sold a lot of books, and continue to sell them.

On October 28, I will be conducting a Virtual Book Tour for The Healing Code book. (You’re invited to listen to the live or replay–either way, sign up here.)

I assure you they did not manipulate anything at all.

The last teleseminar interview in the Successful Author Secrets series was one of my favorites, because it was with an author I’ve worked with personally on a book that has changed my life, and is changing the lives of thousands of other people.

I’m talking about Dr. Alex Loyd, and his book, The Healing Code: 6 Minutes to Heal the Source of Any Health, Success or Relationship Issue.
