How to Blog–by the Creator of Simpleology

Thursday, December 27th, 2007

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I love what Mark Joyner does with multi-media courses.

As you may know,  I’m a fan of his Simpleology courses.  Simpleology 101 taught me to be at least twice as productive.  Simpleology 102 showed me how money actually works, and caused me to change my whole business model.  Simpleology 103 has helped me feel more energy than I ever had–despite some health challenges.

Now I’m evaluating a multi-media course on blogging from the folks at Simpleology. For a while, they’re letting you snag it for free if you post about it on your blog.

(And if you don’t have a blog, there are links that show you where and how to set one up
for nothing.  I recommend WordPress.)

The new course  covers:

  • The best blogging techniques.
  • How to get traffic to your blog.
  • How to turn your blog into money.

I’ll let you know what I think once I’ve had a chance to check it out.  Meanwhile, go grab yours while it’s still free.

Apology–and What I Learned from Today’s Call ..

Thursday, December 27th, 2007

Earlier today I posted about a teleseminar I THOUGHT was one of Steve
Harrison’s usual excellent teleseminars.

I was misled, I’m afraid. (more…)

Teleseminar Today on Starting Offering Coaching Services on Your Expertise

Thursday, December 27th, 2007

Do you offer coaching services?

If not, maybe you should!

Why?

Because coaching is one of the quickest ways almost any non-fiction author (or anybody with expertise) can dramatically increase their incomes while also helping a lot of people. (more…)

Holiday Greetings … and a Christmas Story Audio

Tuesday, December 25th, 2007

I love this season, with all the celebrations that lend meaning to our lives!

So here’s a quick note to wish you a most blessed holiday season:

  • A Hannukah full of new light that continues to illuminate your world …
  • A Christmas overflowing with the gifts only the Savior can give …
  • A new year blessed with all the things that make your heart sing …

And I invite you to listen to one of my favorite Christmas stories from my book, Abundant Gifts.

My Christmas Gift to You …

Thursday, December 20th, 2007

I was wracking my brain, trying to figure out what I can give to you this Christmas.

(I love to give just the right gift, don’t you?)

That got me to thinking about what I wish most for you for the coming year.

I wish that you would actually get started on your book/information idea.

That’s the thing that’s hardest for most people–how to get started.

So I thought I’d let you in on a class that I gave called “Start Your Book Today–The Right Way.”

From this teleclass you will discover:

  • what having a published book can do for you and your business.
  • why this is the BEST time in history to be an author and creator of information products.
  • how to develop the right mindset to be a successful author in today’s climate. (Success = able to make a good living from your expertise)
  • how to avoid the 7 mistakes at least 95 percent of authors make.
  • two tools/techniques to begin writing your book as soon as you finish this class, if you choose to.

There’s also a study guide.

You can find it all here. But only until December 31. After that, this will no longer be available at no cost. UPDATE: As stated, this is no longer available for free. However, it is one of the bonuses available in Terry Whalin’s Book Proposal Secrets, which you can explore here.

Please accept my heartfelt wish that your holidays be filled with joy, peace, and love … and the new year ahead will see many dreams fulfilled.

What a Call … And Why You Should Listen NOW

Saturday, December 8th, 2007

tss-logo.gifAs usual, Alex overdelivered on his Teleseminar Secrets preview call last night! Four and a half hours!

Here’s what he covered:

  • 8 unique advantages of teleseminars over other marketing methods
  • embarrassing mistakes most telemarketers make DURING their teleseminars and how you can avoid them
  • 9 common mistakes most telemarketers make BEFORE teleseminars and how to easily side-step them forever
  • Alex’s 7-Step Plan to quickly triple your passive income as an “Tele-Interviewer” of industry leaders
  • 4 closely-guarded teleseminar Case Studies that generated 6-figure profits with little human effort. (This was the best part of the call for me. These strategies will help me and my clients overcome many frustrations and sell much more with much less effort.)
  • 5 core attributes to find low-cost reliable vendors for sales copy, winning website designs and much more
  • 11 little-known, low-cost secrets so you will repeatedly and automatically build your own highly responsive online list(s)from scratch
  • And much, much, much more!! (Alex is famous for “over-delivering–and he did! The call is four and a half hours.)

The doors shut on the Teleseminar Secrets course for this year, but you can still get the four and a half hours of training which WILL, I promise, give you enough great ideas to get your started.

When else can you get more than four hours of excellent training–that you can listen to at your convenience–go over and over again–for only $20? (It’s actually $99–and worth more than that–but I got you a $79 discount so you only pay $20.) You will be able to download the audio and keep it forever.

Plus when you listen to that call, you will be invited either to the live or recorded followup teleseminar in which I will apply what you learn from that Alex’s training to being an author (whether your book is written yet or not). It will be either live or recorded depending on when you sign up (it can be anytime).  Get instant access now.

That’s a lot of great training for a mere $20. And if you don’t think it was worth it–you will get your money back.

Oh–one more thing. If you listen soon, and are interested in taking the Teleseminar Secrets course, you can be added to a standby list in case people drop the course.

The details of how to do that, as well as the bonuses from me and how teleseminars can specifically benefit authors and authors-to-be, are here.

How Teleseminars Can Give You the “Edge” Publishers are looking for …

Thursday, December 6th, 2007

I know you’ve been hearing a lot from me lately about teleseminars.

Two very good reasons for that.

Reason #1

1. Teleseminars (and podcasts) are the wave of the future. They are already an increasingly important and effective way of communicating your message.

Publishers know this, and are trying to work this whole new way of communicating into their publishing plans. (more…)

Why You Won’t See Google Ads on My Blog

Tuesday, December 4th, 2007

As you probably noticed, lots of blogs have Google ads sprinkled either in their copy or their sidebars. They get money when people click on the links, even if people never buy.

With a topic like mine–writing and publishing–the ad revenue can become significant.

Some people even create content on their blogs to maximize revenue in this way.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that, per se. However, I’ve chosen NOT to accept any ads on this blog.

The reason is simple. I want to be your most trusted advisor when it comes to matters of publishing. (more…)

Have You Ever Wanted to Learn How To Draw?

Tuesday, December 4th, 2007

When I was a kid, I would break out into a cold sweat whenever I had to draw anything for school.

To this day, I feel I can barely draw a stick figure.

I found a blog in which other totally bad artists made me feel like I’m in good company.

It also made me feel like there was hope.

I was totally fascinated to learn about Jacques Fresco and his approach to teaching drawing. (more…)
